Six months before the senatorial election, Koko Pimentel, Ralph Recto and Vicente Sotto were all seen as sure winners in the early surveys. They all ended up losing. Noynoy Aquino, Joker Arroyo, Antonio Trillanes and Juan Miguel Zubiri were all outside the winning twelve several months before the election but made it to the winner’s circle on Election Day.
